This visa has been designed for people who are owners or part-owners of an overseas business and are commited to participating in the running of a new or existing business in Australia. This is a permanent visa aimed at people who are less than 55 years of age. In order to be eligible for the grant of this visa, the applicant must:

• be less than 55 years of age;
• show that he/ she have a successful business career;
• be sponsored by an Australian state or territory;
• have assets of at least $400,000.00 in a qualifying business overseas for at least 2 out of the last 4 fiscal years;
• be able to show a turnover of at least $3,000,000.00 in at least 2 out of the last 4 fiscal years;
• have personal assets of at least $1,500,000.00;
• be prepared to maintain ownership of a business in Australia and be prepared to be involved in continuous management of the same.
