This visa has been designed specifically for people who are the holders of a Temporary Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa (subclass 457IE). The purpose of this visa is to allow the current holders of the Temporary Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa (subclass 457IE) to apply for one of the permanent residency visas such as the Established Business in Australia (Subclass 845), Regional Established Business in Australia (Subclass 846) or the State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (residence) (Subclass 892).

This visa is not open to people who do not already hold the Temporary Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa (subclass 457IE).
